The world record holder in the 400m had to settle for second place with a time of 20s31 in the 200m event. Benjamin Richardson claimed victory with a time of 20s16. In the 400m race, Lythe Pillay took home the title with a time of 44s31, while Akani Simbine emerged victorious in the 100m race with a time of 10s01.
