Terem Moffi sanctioned for being late and benched in OGC Nice’s game against PSG

OGC Nice’s Nigerian forward, Terem Moffi, was surprisingly benched in their game against PSG (3-1) in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France on Wednesday, March 13. Moffi, who is a key player in the team and had previously scored two goals against the reigning French champions, was only given playing time in the last 30 minutes of the match. It was revealed that Moffi’s absence from the starting lineup was not due to a tactical decision by manager Francesco Farioli, but rather a disciplinary action. According to Nice Matin, the forward was sanctioned for being late.
