Temitope Adeshina, a 25-year-old athlete, has achieved a remarkable feat. She broke the Nigerian high jump record by clearing 1.96m at the Corky Classic in Texas. This incredible achievement came in only her second NCAA meet. Adeshina surpasses her fellow Nigerian competitor, Doreen Amata, who held the previous record since 2008.
