Napoli has officially announced the contract extension of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. The talented player will now remain with the Italian club until 2026. According to Fabrizio Romano, his release clause is set at 130 million euros. Osimhen joined Napoli in 2020 for a transfer fee of 74 million euros. Since then, he has played a crucial role in the team’s victory in the Serie A and was named the African Player of the Year. With many clubs vying for his signature, Osimhen has decided to extend his contract, which was originally set to expire in June 2025.
