Ahmed Hossam ‘Mido’, the former Egyptian football player, has advised Hossam Hassan, the new coach of Egypt, to seek guidance from Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho in order to benefit from his managerial expertise. Mido believes that the Hassan twins, Hossam and Ibrahim, have the potential to restore the prestige of the Egyptian national team. While Hassan is Mido’s leader, his advice as a younger brother is to meet Jose Mourinho not for technical matters, but to learn how to effectively manage the current generation of players. Mourinho is the only coach from the old school who has successfully adapted to the changing generations, Mido added.
