Mayar Sherif’s 2022 season got off to a disappointing start as she suffered a first-round defeat at the WTA 250 Hobart tournament. The Egyptian tennis player faced tough competition from American Caroline Dolehid and was unable to secure a victory. Dolehid dominated the match, winning in straight sets with a score of 6-1, 6-4. Despite this setback, Sherif remains determined and focused for her upcoming appearance at the Australian Open, scheduled from January 14th to 28th in Melbourne.
