After suffering two consecutive losses in the first round of the playoffs in New York, Philadelphia needed to bounce back in their home game 3 on the night of April 25th to 26th. And once again, it was Joel Embiid who led the charge. The 2023 MVP guided his team to a 125-114 victory against the Knicks. The center set a new playoff record with 50 points, shooting 13/19 from the field and 19/21 from the free-throw line. He also contributed 8 rebounds and 4 assists in 41 minutes of play. Notably, he became the first player since Michael Jordan in 1996 to score at least 45 points against the Knicks in the playoffs. All of this while playing with a sore knee. Simply exceptional!
