The Spanish-speaking team was held to a 1-1 draw by the modest Djibouti team in Malabo. Juan Micha’s players took the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal from Carlos Akapo. However, despite their dominance and several opportunities to secure the victory, Nzalang Nacional was equalized in the 71st minute by Samuel Akinbinu, the Nigerian-born striker who now represents Djibouti.
