Christian Mbilli continues his winning streak. The Franco-Cameroonian boxer secured a prestigious victory on Saturday, January 13th in Quebec. He defeated Australian boxer Rohan Murdock in the 6th round by referee’s stoppage. ‘Tonight, I want to send a message that I am the future of this weight category,’ Mbilli declared in the ring after his dominant performance.
As the number one contender in both the WBC and WBA rankings, Mbilli now boasts an impressive 26 career victories. The Yaoundé native remains undefeated in the super-middleweight division. His ultimate goal is to challenge the legend of this category, Mexican boxer Canelo Alvarez. ‘Canelo is the best, everyone knows it. I want to prove that I am now the best, and I will do everything possible to face him.’
