Caitlin Ann de Lange is a big fan of Accra. After making a name for herself at the 2021 African Swimming Championships held in the Ghanaian capital, the 20-year-old South African swimmer is back to dazzle the pools. She has won 5 medals, including 4 golds, at the ongoing African Games 2024, which are taking place in Accra. She dominated the 100m freestyle and the 50m backstroke, secured the 2nd place in the 50m butterfly, and was also a part of two winning South African relays.
