Al-Ahly, the Egyptian club competing in the Basketball African League (BAL), has bolstered their team by signing three experienced American players. The new additions include Tony Mitchell Jr, Patrick Gardner, and Prince Adams Ali. Mitchell, 31, brings his NBA experience from playing for the Detroit Pistons, as well as his time with various clubs including Al-Wasl in the United Arab Emirates in 2018, Al-Naft in Iraq in 2022, and currently with the Taipei New Kings in Taiwan. Gardner, 24, is a promising player from the American college league. Lastly, Ali, 27, has gained significant experience playing for numerous Spanish clubs.
